Barnsby 16" English Saddle | Heartland TV Set

A unique piece of equestrian and Canadian television history! This vintage Barnsby English saddle came directly from the production set of the hit Canadian television series Heartland.

Made in England, this traditional brown leather saddle features its original brass maker's plate reading “Pony Club Approved - Saddled by Barnsby - Made in England.”  Barnsby is a historic English saddlery name known for traditional English saddles and craftsmanship.

The saddle has an approximately 16" seat and a traditional all-purpose/general-purpose English design, with three leather girth billets on each side. No tree-width marking could be located, so the tree width is listed as unknown rather than estimating a modern size.

This is a well-used vintage saddle and shows significant wear consistent with its age and history, including fading, rubbing, scratches and substantial wear to the seat and cantle. The billets also show signs of previous use. Please review all photos carefully for condition.

A Piece of Heartland History

This saddle was obtained directly from the Heartland television production. While we cannot confirm which cast member, character or horse may have used this particular saddle, its known provenance makes it a unique piece of Heartland history and a wonderful collectible for fans of the series and equestrians alike.
